Damon Ranger Talks With Music Legend Ringo Starr



Everyone on earth knows Ringo Starr as “The Beatles' beat keeper”, followed by his illustrious solo career, but along the extraordinary journey, the legends also demonstrated an increasing affinity for another means of artistic expression. He says that, "I started in the late nineties with my computer art," the superstar once said. "While I was touring, it gave me something to do in all those crazy hotels you have to stay in on the road.

And for those who forked over some serious dough in advance, there was even a reception to meet the man behind the images on Thursday night, which after Starr walked the red carpet and posed for press, included the chance for donors to score their very own autograph and snapshot in somewhat rare though nonetheless gracious personal appearance.

The organization funds, supports and promotes various projects aimed at advancing social welfare including assistance to those battling cancer, substance abuse, homelessness and much more. After the show Ringo said that he loves visiting Chicago when it's not wintertime. "It's an open city, I wander round, there's not a lot of hustle here, I find," said Starr.
