Damon Ranger earned success and fame due to his passion for music
Being a highly proficient and
outstanding musician, songwriter and television/radio personality, Damon
Ranger was lucky enough to grab massive fame. He is solely responsible to
give the hit songs geared for commercial market. He has co/written songs with
artists such as WAR, Dee Snider, Kanye West, Rhymefest,
and more. Currently, Damon is playing with his band Blackbox.
Pertaining to his
accomplishments, Damon has led the rebel stage at Riot Fest alongside Iggy and
The Stooges and Elvis Costello. In 2006, Damon Ranger presented an outstanding
regional spot news story when he was an editor at CBS Chicago WBBM TV. For
this, he was awarded National News Emmy Award. Besides, he also won Chicago/
Midwest Chapter Emmy Award in 2005 for Spot News. While working as a
videographer with CBS News Chicago WBBM TV, Damon Ranger won
Chicago/Midwest Chapter Emmy Award for his individual achievement in 2006 and
for technical achievement in 2007. For his performance with Rick Nielsen of
Cheap Trick for Chicago WBBM TV, Damon was honored with the Chicago Midwest
Emmy Award for Excellence on Camera in 2009.
Apart from this, he worked with
Dee Snider and co-wrote Playoffs and World Series theme song “Rule the World”.
For this, he won Chicago Cubs-World Series Championship Ring in 2016. He was
also declared Artist Mentor of the Year at School of Rock.
At the age of 19, Damon Ranger
started his professional career as a sound engineer for the album titled “The
Muchacha” by the band The Dorks. In 2014, Damon worked as a composer for War’s
Album “Evolutionary”. Thereafter, he worked with Dee Snider as a producer,
composer, engineer and vocalist for the album “We Are the Ones”.
