Damon Ranger - An award winning musician who owns and runs a lounge in Chicago
Being an award-winning musician, Damon Ranger has contributed a lot
towards entertaining his audience. Besides a musician, he is a well-established
songwriter and a television personality. Highly inclined towards music since
his childhood days; Damon Ranger started his career as a sound engineer for the
album “The Muchacha” by the band The Dorks. He won Grammy for his songwriting
contributions with Kanye West.
Currently, Damon Ranger is working with the band Black Box and as an
entertainment reporter for CBS and WBBM. The best part is that Black Box has
headlined the Rebel Stage at Riot Fest alongside Iggy and The Stooges and Elvis
Costello. Damon has also written songs with various artists including WAR, Dee
Snider, Kanye West, Rhymefest, and more.
Pertaining to the awards and
accomplishments made by Damon Ranger,
he has won two national and four regional Emmy awards for his great work with
CBS Chicago. He was awarded for outstanding achievement for Individual
Excellence on Camera. Additionally, he has won the award for Outstanding
Achievement Within a Regularly Scheduled News Program- Spot Coverage and
Breaking News. In 2006, Damon Ranger presented an outstanding regional spot news
story when he was an editor at CBS Chicago WBBM TV. Owing to this, he was
awarded National News Emmy Award. He also won Chicago/ Midwest Chapter Emmy
Award in 2005 for Spot News.
Apart from this, Damon Ranger also owns and runs a
lounge in Chicago named Chelsea Room. This lounge includes music and pop art at

that include Chelsea (rosemary-infused vodka, citrus and crème de violette,
